Anthony sits on the Texas line south of Las Cruces, a working border town better known for pecan groves, La Union vineyards, and the Anthony Gap than for any dating scene. There is no real date district: meals trend toward family Mexican spots, La Vina handles afternoons, and most evenings migrate north to Mesilla or south to El Paso. The tradeoff is honesty about scale; the upside is privacy and zero pretense. Treat it as a daytime move, a winery tasting, a drive through the pecans, an early dinner, and leave the nightlife to bigger neighbors.
