Marana
Marana is what Tucson looks like when it grows up and moves out. Northwest of the city proper, it has the rare suburb trifecta: new rooftops in Dove Mountain, the Ritz-Carlton anchoring the high end, and enough open desert that you can still pretend you discovered it. Tech and aerospace jobs cluster along I-10, the schools test well, and Saturday means Marana Heritage River Park or hiking the Tortolitas before the heat sets in.
