Saunders County seat, thirty-odd miles northwest of Lincoln, famous chiefly for being the hometown ESPN's SportsCenter periodically thanks on air. A pleasant brick downtown, a courthouse square, and the usual ring of grain elevators. Dating-wise, the pool is small and largely accounted for by high school. The honest move is treating Wahoo as a destination rather than a scene: a county-fair date, a Friday football night, dinner at a square-side spot, then the drive back. Anything more sustained requires commuting to Lincoln or Omaha, which most singles here are already quietly doing.
