Romantic capital

TDG's composite metric for a city's romantic-market viability: weighted income, education, age distribution, walkability, and venue density.

Defined in TDG editorial methodology, v1. The Romantic Capital Index combines five inputs: median income (proxy for date affordability), bachelor's-plus rate (proxy for cohort overlap with educated-young-adult dating culture), share of population aged 25–44, walkability (Walk Score average), and per-capita venue density. Weights and methodology are published at /sources#tdg-methodology.
