QOS stands for "Queen of Spades," slang for a woman who has a stated preference for or exclusively dates Black men.
"Queen of Spades" is a term used within hotwife and cuckold lifestyle communities, subcultures organized around consensual non-monogamy in which one partner, typically the woman, pursues sexual relationships outside the primary partnership, often with the other partner's knowledge or active involvement. Its precise origin is not documented; independent sources trace its circulation to broader interracial-lifestyle and fetish forums, later adopted more specifically within hotwife and cuckold circles. Within these communities, QOS designates a woman, usually white, whose stated preference is for Black male partners, sometimes to the exclusion of other racial groups. It functions as a more specific, identity-affirming label than the broader term "snowbunny," which describes any woman who dates Black men without implying formal community affiliation. The associated visual marker is the spade playing-card symbol, often rendered with a capital "Q" set above or inside it. This icon appears on tattoos, anklets, bracelets, and clothing as a discreet identifier within lifestyle circles, comparable in function to other subculture-specific symbols such as the hotwife crown or the ankle bracelet historically associated with swinger communities. QOS should not be confused with the unrelated technical initialism "QoS," which stands for "quality of service" in computing and telecommunications and has no connection to dating or relationship usage; the two share only their letters.
