Poncey-Highland delivers the Atlanta fantasy of leaving the car at home: Ponce City Market for groceries, Freedom Park for the dog, the Eastside Trail for everything else. Bungalows trade at numbers that would have read as typos a decade ago, and the new mid-rises lean rental. The tradeoff is foot traffic that does not always know it is in someone's front yard, and a corridor that gets loud on Saturday nights. Date-wise, it is the safest bet in town for a walk-first second date.
