Cranbury
Cranbury is the Princeton-adjacent village people forget to mention because they want to keep it. A genuinely preserved 18th-century Main Street, the Cranbury Inn still serving, Teddy's for the regulars, and farmland that has so far resisted the warehouse tide creeping up Route 130. Dates here lean walk-the-village-then-dinner, not bar-hop. The tradeoff is honest: there is almost no nightlife and the dating pool is small, married, and over forty. Singles in their twenties commute to Princeton or New Brunswick for anything resembling a scene. Charming, quiet, and a little smug about it.
