University
University tightens around UNR's quad and the streets sloping toward North Virginia: student rentals, the occasional Greek house, coffee shops doing real volume between classes. The dating pool is younger by default, academic by accident, and turns over every August. Wolf Pack games and the Joe Crowley calendar set the social tempo more than any bar does. Tradeoff: charm is uneven, parking is worse, and anyone past undergrad will feel the age gap quickly. Useful if you actually study or teach here; otherwise Midtown is the honest move, fifteen blocks south and a different decade of life entirely.
