Polish Hill
Polish Hill is small, steep, and stubbornly itself. Immaculate Heart of Mary's copper domes still anchor the skyline above Brereton Street, and the neighborhood wears its Polish-immigrant bones without turning them into a theme. For a date it reads quiet, almost residential: Gooski's for cheap beer and a jukebox that takes its job seriously, Lili Coffee Shop for a daytime reset, and a short walk to the Strip District when you want options. The catch is scale. There are maybe a handful of venues, parking is a hill-climb sport, and if your date wants a scene, this is the wrong hill. Bring someone who likes specifics.
