Perdido Key

Perdido Key is what happens when the Florida-Alabama line decides it doesn't care which side wins. A barrier island west of Pensacola, sugar-white and condo-heavy, with the Flora-Bama straddling the border for anyone keeping score. The crowd skews snowbird, biker rally, and bachelor party in roughly that rotation, depending on the month. Dating here means picking your lane early: rooftop deck at sunset, or shoulder-to-shoulder at the Bama by ten. Bridges in, bridges out, not much in between. Bring sunscreen, lower the expectations on conversation, raise them on the view. The Gulf does the heavy lifting, and knows it.
