Deep Deuce
Deep Deuce sits where Charlie Christian once played, now a corridor of brick lofts, breweries, and Sunnyside Diner brunch lines along NE 2nd Street. The Deep Deuce Apartments and Level Urban anchor the rebuild; jazz murals and the Black Liberated Arts Center nod to what was paved over. Walk to the Bricktown Canal, bike the Spark trail to Automobile Alley, catch a Thunder game without driving. The honest tradeoff: history here is interpretive, not lived, and weekend bar spillover from Bricktown carries up Walnut. Rents undercut Midtown for similar square footage, which is the actual draw.
