Hooper

Hooper is what Weber County looks like before it becomes Ogden, all alfalfa fields, horse property, and the kind of zoning that protects a sunset view. The population skews married, multigenerational, and LDS, with families running three deep on the same county road. There is no dating scene here in any honest sense, just neighbors and the occasional cousin's wedding reception at the stake center. Singles drive to Ogden or Layton for anything resembling a Friday night. The tradeoff is real space, a quieter sky, and a property tax bill that still makes sense, which most newcomers decide is enough.
