Holland
Holland is the Dutch-coast outlier that pretends it isn't a date-night destination, then quietly outperforms most of West Michigan on the metric. Tulip Time skews the dating geometry weird in May, but the other eleven months you get a walkable downtown, the Lake Michigan beach proximity, and a small-college population (Hope) that keeps the room from going entirely retired. The tradeoff: the cultural conservatism is real, the bar density is thin by design, and Sunday is still a soft day. Best for people who treat a long lakeshore walk and a brewery as a complete evening. Bad for anyone needing volume.
