Horace is what happens when Fargo's southern edge keeps walking. The growth is genuine, the rooftops are new, and the median resident is young enough that the dating market is not theoretical. The catch is that almost none of the actual dating happens in Horace. The town is heavy on cul-de-sacs and light on the kind of third place where a first date can plausibly land, which means south Fargo absorbs the evening. Treat Horace as a residential address attached to a Fargo dating life, and the math works. Treat it as a destination, and you will spend a lot of time in your car.
