Coburg

Coburg is the antique-row hamlet ten minutes up I-5 from Eugene, and it punches above its 1,200-person weight on charm if not on options. The historic district along Willamette Street gives you a walkable handful of antique shops, the Coburg Pizza Company, and a couple of cafes that close before most Eugene daters have finished work. The Coburg Inn does a credible breakfast date if you can sell the drive. Otherwise treat Coburg as a daytime detour - an antiquing Saturday or a Bushnell winery stop on the way to McKenzie wine country - then point the car back south for actual nightlife.
