Clayton sits up in northern Kent County, closer to Smyrna than to Dover proper, which is either a perk or a betrayal depending on your commute. The town reads small and settled: a grid of older homes, a few churches, the railroad cutting through like it has somewhere better to be. Dating here is a logistics problem. There is no scene to speak of, no walkable downtown bar circuit, and the dating pool skews toward people who already know each other's cousins. You drive to Dover or Middletown for anything resembling a night out, and you make peace with that arithmetic before you swipe.
