Xenia
Xenia is the Greene County seat, fifteen miles east of Dayton, and it has been quietly absorbing the metro's spillover for two decades. The courthouse square still runs the town, but the rail-trail hub - five paved corridors converge here - has done more for the dating economy than any zoning vote. You will meet Wright-Patt contractors, AFIT spouses on second acts, and Cedarville grads who could not quite leave Greene County. Honest tradeoff: it is conservative, church-anchored, and last call comes early. Bring a bike, a coffee order, and the patience to be seen twice before you are spoken to.
