Plymouth is Ann Arbor's quieter, richer cousin who married into Wayne County and never quite forgave the zip code. The downtown is genuinely charming, ringed by Kellogg Park, stocked with wine bars and the kind of restaurants that take a reservation seriously. The crowd skews older, married, and gently competitive about kitchen renovations. For dating it works best as a midpoint between Ann Arbor and the western suburbs, or as a Sunday-brunch alibi. Do not expect a scene after ten. Do expect the check to arrive without flinching, and the parking to require a small strategic conversation before you commit.
